Statement of Purpose

Greetings of Fullerton University, I’m a student in High School at Brazil and I want to become a doctor in the future. I know that to achieve my goals I will have to go for it, study hard and enjoy all the opportunities that appear in my way. This course improved my English that will help me in the future to study forward and maybe to get better opportunities.
I’ve learned a lot here about American culture, writing, history and pronunciation. And is learning that I will get what I want. I love helping people, studying, learning and you would be lucky to have a dedicated and a focus person that never give up in your university. I have great skills and I will use them to impress the world but the most important I will do what I love, helping people.

Analyzing Arguments

Researches show that school should start later, because teenagers can’t wake-up so early, their body clocks are different from adults; they should wake-up when their body stops producing melatonin. The result is that the first class of the morning is often a waste, with as many as 28 percent of students falling asleep. The school should stop focusing on testing and start changing the hours of the school day, starting it later for teenagers and ending it later for all children.

In my opinion is difficult for the teenagers to wake-up so early. They sleep late, because of homework, projects for school and activities. And consequently in the first class most of them are sleeping to reestablish forces to study. So is unnecessary to start school earlier, no one will pay attention or learn anything. So I support the idea to star school later and end later, teenagers will have will to study

ARE COMPUTER GAMES BAD FOR CHILDREN?

The arguments of Walker, A. (2001) and Davies, S. (2003) agree that violent videogames are not good for children.
Davies says that videogames are highly addictive and prevents the interaction of the children with family and friends.
Walker says that young people who regularly play violent computer games have a tendency to be more aggressive than those who do not.
In my opinion videogames are good for the people, you liberate your anger, forget about your problems and it also encourage socialization and leadership. The only problem is that some people don’t know how to use it. You have to play but not in excess, because everything is excess is bad for your health.
